Our first fall event will be a Dessert & Discussion on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 6:30 p.m., Ames Public Library upstairs meeting room. Our special guest will be Amy Dea, president of the Carroll chapter of Moms for Liberty. This will be a timely presentation as we send children and grandchildren off to school. What happens in public education affects all of us, whether you have children directly involved or not. This is too important to the future of our country to ignore. We MUST be advocates for the next generation! Please plan to attend and learn more about how you can be involved.
